Since AgroFair imported the world’s first Fairtrade bananas into Europe in 1996, it has become the market leader in Fairtrade tropical fruit.

AgroFair started in 1996 with the import and distribution of Oké bananas and was the first company in Europe with Fairtrade bananas. AgroFair uses a multi-source strategy, with this geographical spread we offer year round premium quality bananas.

The Oké brands represents our strong commitment to our planet, its people and to fair trade prices. Both brands have been crowned with the Fairtrade Quality Label, certifying that the production of these fruits complies with the highest social and environmental standards. On top of that, our green Oké brand is also certified organic.

All Good Fairtrade bananas are grown on small family farms with organic fertiliser, clean soil & fresh water. Fairtrade ensures farmers and their families get a fair deal while you get healthy, great tasting bananas.

Elephant Bananas

Our Elephant brand, symbol of strength, prosperity and good fortune, represents the conventional/organic banana shipping to our “far away” clients, mainly in East and South-East Asia (Korea and Singapore). In some cases the fruit comes from conventional farms but also from organic farms. The elephant is deeply embedded in their culture and history.
