AgroFair is an importer and distributor of sustainable certified tropical fruit and co-owned by its  producers in Africa and Latin America. They are represented on the Board and at Annual Shareholders’ Meetings. Profits made by AgroFair flow back to the producers.

In 1996, AgroFair was the first company to develop and import Fairtrade bananas, and in 2002 it added mangoes and pineapples to the Fairtrade fruitbowl. In 2005 we developed a year-round supply of citrus fruit. These products are now sold in twelve countries in Europe and in the USA. The Fairtrade system ensures that the producers receive a guaranteed price for their fruit which covers the cost of production, and an additional supplement, known as the Fairtrade premium, which can be used for social and environmental projects to improve the lives of the farmers.
